The Rheinflimmern in Rheinfelden has been given a fresh coat of paint in 2024 and now shines in new splendor! With comfortable new chairs, improved space and optimal viewing angles of the screen, your cinema experience is now even more enjoyable. This invites you to linger.

Movies

The MOVIES cinema provides you with first-class film technology on 5 screens. Thanks to 4K SXRD panels and high-precision ED glass lenses, you can expect a picture with impressive sharpness and color brilliance. Look forward to a varied program: from blockbusters to arthouse cinema, there is something for everyone. The film art series is particularly exciting with special arthouse highlights.

Atlantis

The Atlantis is an arthouse cinema with a charming retro look that welcomes you in two lovingly restored auditoriums. Here you will find rare, carefully selected films and sophisticated cinematic art - including many exciting movie premieres.

Krone Theater

The Krone Theater is a special kind of "provincial cinema"! Technology and comfort are the top priorities here: both auditoriums are equipped with the latest digital technology and, of course, in 3D. In 2015, the auditoriums were rebuilt, renovated and re-seated - everything for your ultimate movie enjoyment!

Odeon

The Odeon is a small, family-run arthouse cinema that presents lovingly curated, award-winning films outside the mainstream using state-of-the-art digital technology. Here you can experience a very special cinematic adventure in historic premises.

Scala Cinema Palace

The Kinopalast Tuttlingen, located in the heart of the city on the Danube, offers five state-of-the-art cinemas with 674 comfortable seats. Following extensive refurbishment in spring 2021, the auditoriums are designed for maximum comfort.

Cinema palace in the Rheincenter

The Kinopalast Weil has five spacious, modern and air-conditioned auditoriums, which are located on the second floor of the RHEINCENTER. The rows of seats are generously proportioned so that you have enough space and can enjoy your movie experience in a relaxed manner. Thanks to its central location and convenient connections, the cinema is easy to reach, and free parking directly on site makes your visit particularly uncomplicated.

Albrecht Cinema

The Albrecht Kino offers a cozy foyer and refurbished auditoriums with state-of-the-art sound and image technology. The projection technology has been upgraded to LASER 4K to offer you a first-class cinema experience.

Open-air and drive-in movie theater

The open-air and drive-in cinema attracts you to the Waldarena am Erdhaus at dusk. In cooperation with MOVIES, SOLYMAR and the city of Bad Mergentheim, attractive films await you here as part of an open-air cinema festival!

Central

Central Berlin invites you to experience great cinema in a small setting. It screens carefully selected German and international films that film fans will fall in love with. Especially nice: in summer, the Central cinema offers an open-air experience for balmy evenings and inspiring movie hours.

Moviemento

Moviemento Berlin welcomes you with three screens and a cozy lounge for versatile film enjoyment. A broad program awaits you here: from arthouse films, film classics and premieres to special events and school cinema - a highlight is the extensive range of children's films. Unfortunately, access to the cinema on the second floor is only partially barrier-free and requires assistance for wheelchair users.

Cinema Toni

Kino Toni is a cinema steeped in tradition, housed in a charming building dating back to 1919. Two auditoriums await you here, presenting a varied selection of independent and mainstream films. With state-of-the-art digital projection and clear Dolby 5.1 sound, every movie experience is an acoustic delight. The cinema is also barrier-free, so that all guests can feel welcome.

Movietown

The Movietown impresses with modern technology and maximum comfort! Comfortable armchairs, huge screens and first-class digital sound await you here. The Movietown also uses 3D technology with HIGHER FRAME RATE (HFR 3D) so that you are always up to date.

World mirror

At Weltspiegel Cottbus, you can not only experience cinema at the most modern level - international concerts and live events await you here! With ultra-modern 3D digital projection and satellite technology, Weltspiegel brings real-time entertainment directly into the auditorium. For a relaxed start or a good end to the evening, you can enjoy the atmosphere in the catering areas on the ground floor and top floor without a ticket and use the facilities independently.

Coral Cinema

At Koralle Kino, cinema becomes a place for encounters and exchange, based on the conviction that culture and film form the basis of an open society. With three completely barrier-free auditoriums and its own restaurant, the cinema invites you to experience films as occasions for discussion - be it about big questions or simply for good conversation. Respectful interaction is not a trend here, but has always been a tradition that the cinema enjoys cultivating.

Elbe Filmtheater

At the Elbe Filmtheater, the experience is more than just a movie - here, culture comes alive and becomes the impetus for conversation. The spacious auditorium and the barrier-free foyer with gallery and small sales counter create space for encounters and a relaxed atmosphere. The 16 seats in the foyer also invite you to linger.

Blankenese Cinema

The Blankeneser Kino combines film culture with the flair of the 1920s and focuses on an atmosphere that invites exchange and dialog. With two auditoriums and a small, nostalgically designed foyer, it is a place where discussion and openness take center stage. Here, film is not just entertainment, but the start of a conversation.

Lumos Lichtspiele & Lounge

The Lumos has 619 seats, spread over 6 halls named after the elements: Lumos, Ignis, Aqua, Aero, Terra and Mystique. The design of the auditoriums is creatively based on their names. Look forward to the best picture quality and the latest technology!

Central Theater

The Central Theater Uelzen offers five modern cinemas where you can enjoy digital projection at its best! And if you fancy 3D, then four of these theaters are just the place for you.

Film yard

The Filmhof Hoya offers you cinema and much more - including a cozy café and beer garden right on the Weser! The inviting foyer welcomes you to linger before and after the movie. If you get hungry during the movie, that's no problem: the Filmhof is a food court with a large selection of delicious snacks.

City Cinema

City Kino fascinates with its specially designed auditoriums, all of which are unique. Discover the special rooms and immerse yourself in a first-class sound experience.

Central Theater

The modern Central Theater in Osterholz-Scharmbeck invites you to a current cinema program, exciting previews and various film series. It offers three ultra-modern, air-conditioned movie theaters equipped with perfect sound systems and 3D projections. You can enjoy and experience cinema in the comfortable armchairs with very comfortable row spacing.

Oskar Kulturspielhaus

The "Oscar" arthouse cinema presents selected film art at its finest. It is the meeting place for culture lovers in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, as the stage program also includes regular theater performances, poetry slams, lectures, readings and cultural highlights.

Cine City

Cine City has five modern movie theaters, all with digital projection and four of them with 3D - more cinema is not possible! The Cine City team looks forward to welcoming you and presenting you with carefully selected movie hits and delicious snacks in high-quality surroundings.

Movieplexx

The Movieplexx offers space for almost 300 visitors and has been completely modernized. The generous row spacing of 1.20 m ensures a comfortable seating experience. Screens measuring 25m² each await you in both auditoriums. The cinema has been officially tested and certified as barrier-free since 2012.

Central-Lichtspiele

The cozy Central-Lichtspiele cinema offers the latest digital technology in three cinemas, equipped with Dolby 3D Digital Cinema. Cinemas 1 and 2 have Higher Frame Rate (HFR) for a particularly clear picture.

Kinorama

At Kinorama, you can enjoy the cinema experience in its most beautiful form - service, technology and atmosphere are masterfully combined here. Whether it's the latest blockbusters, exquisite arthouse films or even opera broadcasts from the Royal Opera House: all film fans get their money's worth here. With the "LeinwandSpezial" and "Filmkunst" series, you can discover films away from the mainstream. And for the opera broadcasts, a glass of sparkling wine is available on request.

Movie theater

JAC Cinema

The JAC Cinema offers you "cinema with a difference"! Here you can expect an incomparable sound experience, huge screens and comfortable cinema seats in air-conditioned themed auditoriums - all in a great atmosphere. Passion is the name of the game here!

Willow farm

The Weidenhof is your destination for first-class cinema entertainment in four renovated, well-equipped theaters. Convince yourself of the comfortable cinema seats and the brilliant sound - an experience you can only find in a movie theater!

Astra & Luna

The Astra Theater is centrally located in the city center, just a short walk from the main train station. With its two cinemas, Astra and Luna, the theater has been a popular art house cinema since it opened in 1958. Since 1995, it has dedicated itself entirely to the special art of film. A unique cinema experience awaits you in this charming, originally preserved 1950s movie theater.

Lichtburg

Lichtburg Essen is a real highlight for movie fans - Germany's largest movie palace offers space for 1,250 movie fans. In the heart of the city, it not only impresses with its size, but also with its impressive beauty. The SABU, the modern auditorium in the basement, offers 150 seats and the latest cinema technology for an unforgettable movie experience.

Filmstudio Glückauf

At Filmstudio Glückauf, you will not only experience history, but also the splendor of the oldest movie theater in Essen. This gem on the "Rü" is a real diamond among the regional cinemas and impresses with its unique flair and diverse selection of films.

Gallery Cinema

The Galerie Cinema is a small cinema with a very special charm. With just 43 seats, it is the smallest and also the oldest arthouse cinema in the Ruhr region. Here you can enjoy a personal movie experience - please note that admission is not possible after the movie has started so as not to disturb the other movie fans.

Eulenspiegel Filmtheater

The Eulenspiegel is a classic cinema in the style of the 1950s, which impresses with its large screen and historical flair. Active as an art house movie theater since 1980, the listed Eulenspiegel offers 288 comfortable seats and plenty of legroom. An impressive 100 m² screen and state-of-the-art digital technology await you here, complemented by classic 35mm and 70mm projections for true monumental cinema.

Rio Filmtheater

The Rio Filmtheater in the MedienHaus is Mülheim's only art house movie theater and a real insider tip for anyone who loves sophisticated cinema art. After the renovation and reopening in 2009, you can enjoy a varied program in modern, well-equipped rooms that will make every film fan's heart beat faster.

Universe

Following a complete modernization, Universum Soest has been transformed into a modern cinema. In June 2011, the building, which was originally built in 1957, shone with the latest digital and 3D technology. Blockbusters, exciting previews, arthouse films and original versions await you here in three comfortably equipped auditoriums.

Roxy Movie Theater

The Roxy Filmtheater has been bringing a piece of film culture to the region in the heart of Heinsberg since 1948. After the modernization in summer 2023, the three cosy and modern auditoriums will shine with even more comfort. Here you can experience razor-sharp images and impressive 7.1 surround sound. Whether it's the latest blockbusters or special events - the Roxy makes for unforgettable movie moments.

Gloria movie palace

The Gloria Filmpalast invites you to its three modern auditoriums, where the latest blockbusters await you. In addition to these film highlights, matinees and evenings with selected arthouse films await you, offering something for every taste.

Eifel Cinema

The Eifel Kino in Prüm invites you to enjoy films in a pleasant atmosphere and good company. Sustainable air heat pumps and a ventilation system with 100 % fresh air and heat recovery ensure an optimal indoor climate. In keeping with the motto CINEMA FOR ALL, the Eifel Kino is barrier-free: an elevator, wheelchair-accessible WC facilities and wheelchair-accessible tables in the bistro make the cinema accessible to everyone.

Odeon - Apollo

The Odeon-Apollo cinema offers you cinema experiences in a personal and inviting setting. The six modern cinemas impress with 4K projection, Dolby Atmos and 3D HFR - and for fans of special films, there's the "Filmkunst im ateliér" series with carefully selected titles. There are 400 parking spaces available.

Wied Scala

The Wied Scala surprises with a varied program that is enriched by fixed series such as documentaries and themed specials. Here you have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the hall of the 50s arthouse cinema, try special finger food, taste delicious wines or feast on a great buffet.

Capitol

The Capitol, once an iron foundry, now combines historical charm with innovative cinema technology - a perfect symbiosis that inspires us. In the four modern movie theaters with a total of 700 seats, you can experience cinema entertainment at the highest level. Whether for young or old cineastes - the Capitol has the right movie for everyone.

Cinexx

The Cinexx at Hachenburg station is a modern cinema center with five auditoriums of different sizes and a total of 613 seats. The comfortable cinema seats and the ascending rows of seats ensure the best view of the large screens. Digital projection enables 2D and 3D films to be shown in high-resolution quality.

Cine 5

At Cine 5, you can expect an exceptional cinema experience with outstanding picture and sound quality, supported by modern digital projection and 3D technology. Here you can look forward to captivating films ranging from suspense and humor to action and romance. High-performance amplifiers and a 3-way speaker system guarantee clear and powerful sound.

Movie palace

The Filmpalast Salzwedel invites you to six modern movie theaters equipped with digital projection. Four of these theaters offer Dolby 3-D.

Burgtheater

The Burgtheater can look back on a long and eventful history: film screenings have been held on Theaterplatz since 1924, and the Burgtheater has shone in its current form since 1950. Following a complete renovation, you can now take a seat in four ultra-modern auditoriums equipped with first-class seating comfort, excellent digital images and superb Dolby Digital sound systems.

Eulenspiegel Cinema

The Eulenspiegel Kino is a real space miracle with room for 352 guests - making it one of the largest cinemas in northern Germany! The constantly updated movie program has been attracting film fans from Mölln and the entire Duchy of Lauenburg for years.

Cinema Center

Beluga Cinema

Castle Cinema

The Burg Kino impresses with a variety of special rooms, all of which are individually designed. Experience the different rooms for yourself and enjoy the outstanding sound quality.

Metro Cinema

The Metro Kino in Kiel, which dates back to 1939, has shone in new splendour since 2006 following extensive modernization. Today, it not only impresses with its historical charm, but also with state-of-the-art technology such as laser light projection, digital images and powerful Dolby 7.1 sound. The three stylish movie theaters are barrier-free so that everyone is welcome. The charming cinema café, which has 60 seats and a sunny outdoor area, invites you to linger. Little Theater Schillerstrasse

The kTS offers an exciting cinema program for young and old in three modern auditoriums. In addition to current films and the stage and theater program, there is also unique event cinema, for example the kTS cinema breakfast or the kTS sneak preview. The Schiller Lounge invites you to enjoy a glass of wine or a freshly tapped beer and tasty snacks outside the cinema and theater.

Lichtblick movie theater

The Lichtblick Filmtheater Oldenburg offers you a high-quality cinema experience with state-of-the-art image and sound technology in a very special atmosphere. In the cozy foyer, you can treat yourself to hot and cold drinks, refreshments, ice cream and snacks at fair prices. And don't worry - the cinema is barrier-free and has the best seats for wheelchair users in both auditoriums!

LichtBlick

The multi-award-winning LichtBlick Filmtheater is the place for the latest blockbusters, previews and trailer shows in 7 screens! Here we not only serve ice cream and drinks directly at your seat - some seats are even equipped with footstools and you can book comfortable reclining chairs. All the auditoriums are technically well equipped with laser projections on huge screens and Dolby 7.1 sound with high-quality Cabasse and Klipsch loudspeaker systems. It sounds great and looks great!

Movie Star

The Movie Star offers modern auditoriums with the latest projection and sound technology. In the spacious foyer, a dedicated team will provide you with a selection of delicious snacks and drinks. All auditoriums are barrier-free.

Burg Filmtheater

The Burg Filmtheater offers a large auditorium with 151 seats, which creates a special atmosphere with tables at the seats and an integrated bar. The 40 square meter screen and the 7.1 Dolby Surround system guarantee an impressive cinema experience. The offer is complemented by a spacious foyer with seating and exhibition space. The entire cinema is barrier-free.

Capitol

Located in the heart of Preetz, the Capitol Preetz makes cinema an experience again. The movie theater offers modern auditoriums with the latest projection and sound technology, and auditoriums 1 and 4 are barrier-free. The dedicated team provides guests with tasty snacks and drinks in the spacious foyer.

Astra Filmtheater

The Astra Filmtheater has a large auditorium with 165 seats and 6 seats at a bar. The seats are equipped with tables and the auditorium has an integrated bar, which makes the movie experience extra special. With a 40 square meter screen and a 7.1 Dolby Surround system, first-class sound and impressive projections are guaranteed. Access is barrier-free to a limited extent.

51 steps

The 51 Steps cinema is located in the Deutsches Haus and can be reached via 51 steps, which allude to the Hitchcock classic "The 39 Steps". It offers 120 seats and a screen measuring 3.05 x 7.20 meters. State-of-the-art projection technology and a Dolby Digital sound system ensure a pleasant cinema experience.

LichtBlick

The LichtBlick Büsum is located almost on the harbor with a view of the sea and offers state-of-the-art laser projection for 3D films, high-quality sound and two air-conditioned movie theaters. The light-flooded foyer offers a selection of snacks, including the world's best popcorn. The program includes current blockbusters, family films and exquisite arthouse cinema.

Filmtheater am Sandwall

The Filmtheater Sandwall is located in the former dance hall of the Kurhaus Hotel and has been used as a cinema since 1981. It has a large auditorium with approx. 230 seats and a small auditorium with 93 seats, equipped with digital technology that also enables 3D films.

LichtBlick Island Cinema

The LichtBlick Inselkino on Amrum offers state-of-the-art laser projection for 3D films and high-quality sound in two air-conditioned movie theaters with around 160 seats, including loungy double sofas. The varied program comprises around 24 films per week, including blockbusters, family films and arthouse. There are also special documentaries about Amrum and the North Sea.

Savoy - Kulturforum Altes Kino

The Savoy in Bordesholm has been one of the last real "village cinemas" in Schleswig-Holstein since 1950. The focus here is on current arthouse films, supplemented by children's films, documentaries and film history series. The cinema is run by a non-profit association with a dedicated volunteer team and offers you a varied stage program in addition to the many cinema screenings.

Cinema in the pump

The pump, originally a pumping station for the disposal of Kiel's sewage, was built in 1929 in the heart of Kiel's old town. After the commissioning of a new pumping station in 1973, the building fell into a deep slumber. It was revitalized in 1979 and today offers over 2,000 square metres of space for cinema, gastronomy and events.

North German open-air cinema

An exciting program with special film highlights awaits you in the North German open-air cinema at the most beautiful locations in the Duchy and beyond. Look forward to well-known and new venues and a hand-picked selection of films. Remember to bring your own seating - be it a camping chair, a blanket or a sleeping mat. Your physical well-being is also taken care of. And don't worry, we play in almost any weather.
