\"We want to support the cinema landscape in the long term,\" says Martin Turowski. He has been a cinema operator for almost 30 years and is a founding member of the Schleswig-Holstein Cinema Association. \"To achieve this, it is important that we work with CINFINITY <\/strong>We need to be in close contact with other players in the industry, such as the German Film Academy and film distributors. The idea for the Germany-wide cinema subscription via app took off in June 2022 at the Cinema Vision 2030 innovation conference. After the pandemic years, the mood of the participants was driven by the energy of finally being able to go to the movies again. Thomsen and Turowski were inspired by the spirit of optimism and got started. Just six months later, they submitted their application for funding to the German Federal Film Board (FFA), including a concept and calculation for their cinema subscription CINFINITY<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The issue of reliable audience figures is a constant challenge in our industry,\" says Ralf Thomsen. He has also been in the industry for 38 years and, like Turowski, is a founding member of the Schleswig-Holstein Cinema Association. In any case, cinema fans no longer needed any convincing. \"They could hardly wait for our app to launch,\" says Thomsen. The number of participating cinemas is also growing daily. Similar subscription models, such as the CINFINITY model Cineville from the Netherlands, have shown that participating cinemas can definitely benefit from audience growth through subscription models.<\/p>

Of course, Thomsen and Turowski have their own houses at CINFINITY<\/strong> and want to support their long-standing cinema locations in Heide, B\u00fcsum and Amrum (Thomsen) as well as Ratzeburg and M\u00f6lln (Turowski) in their day-to-day business.
